The Mumtaz creations were inspired by the life in the serails or harems at the Mughal Courts.
18K Gold-plated Mumtaz Square Necklace
Length 45 cm
The designs are made in twisted wire which refer to the sensuous but captive lifes of women living in these serails. Some of them were very powerful and advised their ruler; others were legendary for the passion they inspired. The Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan for Mumtaz when she died in 1631 giving birth to their 14th child. The Mumtaz line is about passion, love and sensuality.
